Not Medical or Veterinary Advice
Nothing on this website, and nothing communicated during a session, constitutes medical or veterinary advice. Dawn is a Certified Pet Death Doula, not a veterinarian, veterinary technician, or licensed medical professional.

No Guaranteed Outcomes
Grief is deeply personal. While we are committed to providing compassionate and skillful support, we cannot and do not guarantee any specific emotional outcome, healing timeline, or resolution from working together. Results will vary based on individual circumstances, the nature of the loss, and many other factors outside our control.
Testimonials shared on this site reflect individual experiences and are not a guarantee of similar results.
Crisis and Emergency Situations
Pet Grief Companion is not a veterinary or mental-health crisis service. You may request same-day non-medical emotional support surrounding an unexpected pet goodbye, but a response and same-day availability cannot be guaranteed. Veterinary decisions remain between you and your veterinary team. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 911 (Canada and US) or your local emergency number.
If a contact form message or session communication indicates that someone may be at immediate risk of harm, we reserve the right to share relevant information with appropriate emergency services, consistent with our legal and ethical obligations.
Website Content
The content on this website, including blog posts, guides, and resources, is provided for general informational and educational purposes. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, we do not warrant that all content is complete, current, or error-free.
Blog posts and resources reflect the knowledge and perspective of a certified doula and should not be taken as clinical, veterinary, or legal guidance.
